Zygoplasia Portfolio

My current body of work is named Zygoplasia, a word I put together out of spare parts. Individually, it means a pair yoked together, and cellular multiplication and growth. I design my pots as two layers of tissue that evolved together to serve food. The dividing lines flow between parts of the pot’s anatomy that are normally distinct, and draw the eye around. I see each form as a single long-running project carried across dozens of pots.
